Green @ Kwun Tong | Environmental Day of Environmental Protection Chill Easy Carnival

In response to 'The Sixth Five Environmental Day', Green in Kwun Tong will hold a two-day carnival on 6-7 June 2026 to promote environmental protection knowledge and share tips on safeguarding the ocean, farming, Hong Kong's biodiversity, and daily life.

With the rainy season upon us and unpredictable weather, join the Eco-Waterproof Umbrella Workshop to make your own umbrella cover out of old waterproof fabric and avoid the hassle of a wet umbrella! The event will also feature an exhibition of eco-friendly products made with compassionate technology by Tzu Chi Wish-Fulfilling Hall, hydroponics and eco-friendly insect repellent making by Kwn Nong Po, green education by the Hong Kong Biodiversity Information Booth, upcycling workshops, and game booths.

On 7 June only, Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service's 'Lutheran Huang Zhen Lin Couple Elderly Centre' will showcase clothes and eco-bags remade by staff and elders, VITASOY INT'L Holdings Limited will host a paper box recycling game booth, and a talk on creating a clean ocean ecosystem with 'No Plastic Ocean'. With such a diverse range of eco-friendly activities, don't forget to bring your own cup or water bottle for refreshments! There will also be second-hand item redemption and recycling games. Don't miss out on this exciting event!
